Application Overview

The ERC solution consists of several applications, as illustrated in the image below:

At the core of the system is the Realix Server application, to which all other applications connect. The Realix Server manages and runs the game. During normal operation, the server remains active and fully operational. The game host uses the Game Host application, which connects to the Realix Server and allows the host to control the game. The Prepper application is a lightweight tool, typically accessed via a mobile browser, and is used to prepare the room for the next players.

The Designer application is used to configure your room and design the game logic. The Designer always loads and manages its own projects. It’s important to note that the Game Host application does not manage any projects itself. When it starts, it simply displays the project currently loaded on the server. If no project is loaded, the Game Host will instruct the server to load the released project automatically.

The following articles provide an overview of each application.
