Realix Cloud connects your Realix Server to online Realix services. Currently, a Realix Cloud account is only required to use the AI Assistant in Realix Designer. Additional cloud-based features and services will be introduced over time.
You can create a Realix Cloud account at any time. However, you can only link Realix Servers that have a valid license. The AI Assistant is licensed and enabled through the connected Realix Server, so Realix Designer itself does not need to be linked to your Realix Cloud account.
Before you start
- Start the Realix Server you want to link.
- Open your project in Realix Designer.
- On the Main page, select the correct host computer and connect to it.
- Check that Server is connected and Server has a valid license are shown.
- Make sure the Realix Server can access the internet. The browser sign-in can be completed on the Designer computer, a phone, or another internet-connected device.
Before linking, the Realix Cloud section shows that the current server is not linked, no Cloud account is displayed, and Designer AI is unavailable.
Start linking from the Designer
The easiest way it to just press Link server , it will bring up the login dialog in the browser if you not logged in yet.
Use your login, if you have not, create one or even easier continue with Google.
After signing in, the Link with Realix Cloud window appears.
If you did this steps as guided here above, all fields are already prefilled as it should. You only have to choose Approve link.
But you can verify the following:
- If the pairing code was not filled in automatically, enter it and select Check code.
- Check the Server, Loaded room, Mode, and Hardware details. Only continue when they match the Realix Server you intend to link.
- Under Link to, create a new Realix Server entry or select an appropriate existing entry.
- Confirm the New server name. You can keep the suggested name or choose a name that makes the server easy to recognize.
- If an existing subscription is available for this server, select it. If you received an activation key that must be assigned, enter it in Or activation key. Otherwise, leave the default Keep current / no subscription option selected.
- Select Approve link.
Designer waits for this approval. When linking succeeds, the temporary window closes and the Realix Cloud status updates.
Confirm that AI Assistant is available
In the Designer, check the Realix Cloud section on the Main page. A successful setup shows:
You can now open AI Assistant in Designer. Availability follows the server connection: when Designer is connected to this linked and eligible Realix Server, AI Assistant is available. If Designer connects to a different server, that other server needs its own valid Cloud link and AI access.
View your linked servers in Realix Cloud
The Realix Servers page in the Cloud portal lists the servers connected to your account. It can show whether a server is online, when it was last seen, which room is loaded, and current game status. Select a server to view more details.
