Realix introduces an Evaluation Kit to explore the ERC hardware and software firsthand. The Evaluation Kit, created in response to requests from escape room owners and builders who want a practical way to get familiar with the Realix ERC platform before adopting it in their own projects.
The kit is intended as a hands-on introduction to both the hardware and software, allowing users to explore how the system works in a real setup.
If you’re interested in trying the Evaluation Kit, contact Realix Support at [email protected]. The kit is available for evaluation at no cost for two months, no purchase required.
Get Familiar with Realix ERC
Escape room developers often already have their own way of automating puzzles—but is it really the most efficient approach? How much time is spent building custom RFID solutions, or dealing with large amounts of cabling? With Realix ERC, automation can be approached in a simpler and more structured way. By reducing complexity in both hardware and software, it allows you to spend less time on technical implementation and more time on designing and developing your escape room experience.
Rather than relying on words alone, you now have the opportunity to experience Realix ERC for yourself.
A Complete, Ready-to-Use Setup
The Evaluation Kit comes with a template project that is available in the Designer. It features a small game with three example puzzles, giving a clear, hands-on impression of how to configure devices, define game flow, and build puzzle logic.
The kit itself includes a central SBUS Box, multiple pods (Control, I/O, and RFID), and supporting components such as a button, LEDs, a rotary knob, and an electric lock. All components are connected through the SBUS system, making it quick to set up and easy to experiment with.
Combined with the Realix software tools, Core Server, Designer, Game Host, and Audio Box, the kit provides a complete environment to explore the Realix ERC.
